The Represented started Day 3 of the Exhibition Test Match 315 runs behind with 9 wickets in hand. That was soon reduced to 8 wickets in hand, however, when Ziggy was bowled in the second over of the day by a Lin peach; the ball of the match. A full ball pitched on leg with a touch of inswing, before cutting away off the seam and taking the top of middle - a dream start for the non-reps.
Marshy took advantage of Muddy's early short ball, pulling it away into the gap for the morning's first boundary. Maxie joined her at the crease and both batted very positively, hitting the ball hard where possible. Maxie scored many runs through the cover region, strong off his front foot.
Marshy and Maxie worked very well together, but it was short lived, Marshy falling LBW for 33 to the ever-consistent Lin in the 18th over. 3/66. Maxie pushed on with solid defence, and a few delightful boundaries, including a flat six over cover point. He too, though, would fall after making a start, caught behind for 45 off Kayn's bowling. 4/100.
Dorsy struggled throughout her 19 ball 6, and fell the very next ball, Klutzy claiming his second catch in two balls, this time off Lee's bowling. The team hattrick was unsuccessful, but that didn't sour the celebrations when Guppy fell overs later for 4. Needles came in and tried to take the attack to the bowlers, hitting a six over square leg, but was also soon walking back to the pavilion for just 10. Wishy was the next to fall, becoming Kayn's third wicket. All of a sudden, the Reps were in a dismal position of 8/124 off 37.0 overs, losing 5/24 off a horrendous 10 over period.
Tulip remained strong at one end, however, and set about turning things around. She played a true, gritty wicketkeeper's knock, knuckling down with Rainbow, determined not to face the same fate as many of her teammates. She and Tulip put on 73 runs in 14 overs, adding some respectibility to the scorecard, and maybe giving the Reps a sniff. Tulip's wagon wheel can be seen below, a new feature we've added to the coverage of these games.

Rainbow added a further 16 quick runs for the final wicket, which included some outrageously inventive shots, including a scoop shot down to fine leg and a reverse sweep off Kayn for another boundary. Check out her wagon wheel below! Knighto was bowled by Buster for a 9 ball duck, and the Reps were bowled out 139 runs short of the Non-reps first innings score, for just 213 off 54.3 overs.
