32 hours have passed since the eruption of Mt. Pura, and Search and Rescue Crews, Nurterers and Doctors were allowed into the areas surrounding Mt. Pura 8 hours ago. A highly productive and exciting search for whishy eggs Mt. Pura spewed out during eruption ensued.

4 whishy eggs, the first of the latest generation, 'Purple,' have been recovered, all within a kilometre of the volcano. All eggs were reportedly warm to the touch, confirming the whishies inside are alive and well!
The eggs were transported in a special, incubated truck with comfy egg cups in the back. They arrived at the new Mt. Pura Egg Nurtery, just outside Ocelot National Park.
We'll keep you updated as the eggs hatch and the whishies are known. Names are not a problem, because all whishies formed in Mt. Pura seem to born with an inbound knowledge of their name, and quickly say it upon birth. It's the only word most are able to speak for a couple of weeks, however.
