MT. PURA ERUPTS!

'Bang!' An adequate word to describe Mt. Pura this morning! At precisely 8:14 this morning, Mt. Pura started violently spewing burning hot, purple and orange lava from its crater. The eruption was relatively small, however, only lasting around 40 minutes. The lava cooled, leaving slowly moving rivers of purplish lava, which eventually hardened into igneous rock.

Well-trained whishies from the Mt. Pura Search and Rescue Team embarked immediately after news of the eruption, and are frantically searching the areas around Mt. Pura for any whishy eggs. We have no news of any findings yet, but after seeing whishy eggs floating in the lava a couple of weeks ago, I am certain they are lying around somewhere.

Mt. Pura and the surrounding areas are teeming with volcanologists, other scientists, search and rescue teams, safety workers and news reporters. Quite a sight! The excitement has reached its peak!
