Resuming the day on 2/141, Natalie and Carrot strolled out to the middle of the Strikaland International Sporting Complex, heads down, focused on the large job at hand. Natalie's XI still trailed by 14 runs, so they were effectively 2/-14, despite Natalie's 68 not out yesterday.

Natalie and Carrot endured the opening spells of Muddy and Knighto, scoring at a solid 3.5 runs per over. Before long, Natalie had moved into the 70s, the 80s, and then the 90s. With a single through midwicket, Natalie brought up her long-awaited ton, the fourth of her glamorous career.

The tides turned quickly, however, and it was Lin celebrating, cutting one in through the gate, taking the inside edge of Natalie's blade before flying through to 'keeper Finnie, who pouched the catch. Natalie's skippers knock ended on 101 from 157 balls.

Klutzy came to the crease at No. 5, but his stay was a short one, becoming the first player to be dismissed for a golden duck in the match. Lin again used an offcutter, and a slower change of pace, drawing Klutzy forward and striking him in front on the pad, much like a Shane Watson LBW dismissal. The umpire raised his finger and Natalie's XI again found themselves behind the eight ball. 4/190, all of a sudden.

Galaxy the second (II) played briskly from the outset, but became Muddy's 8th victim of the match, LBW for 14. With only an over left in the day, Natalie's XI sent in Kayn as a nightwatchman. He survived, as did Carrot, but the damage had been done. Natalie's XI - 5/224. Carrot, the anchor, on a watchful 59 and Kayn, new to the crease, on 0. For the full scorecard, click here.
