Cheese and Ayla marched confidently to the centre of Strikaland International Sporting Complex, both having reached their maiden Exhibition centuries yesterday evening. Dorsy's XI began Day 3 trailing by 16 with 8 wickets in hand in their first innings.

After a stunning batting display yesterday, Ayla only managed an extra 7 runs, taking her total to 108, before falling LBW to Wishy, fired up with new energy and bowling fast. Dorsy, captain of her side, came and went, snicking off. Tulip grabbed the catch at first slip from a 149.3 kph bolt from Wishy - 4/307.

Natalie was brought into the attack replacing Wishy, who agreed to change ends so that the spinner would have the advantage of a promising rough patch outside the off stump of a right hander. The plan worked, Cheese unable to resist the extra flight of Natalie's 5th ball. Cheese swept across the line, and Natalie spun it sharply off the rough, past the bat and into the off stump. Cheese's class innings of 164 balls came to an end on 146.

This brought Muddy to the crease, but the greatest allrounder of all-time played second fiddle of Angel, who took the attack to Wishy and the other bowlers, striking numerous boundaries and the first six of the match. She brought up her 50 off of just 47 deliveries late in the day.

Natalie's XI would have the last laugh, however, taking Muddy's wicket on the last ball of the day. An offcutter struck the kneeroll of Muddy's pad, and on Eagle-Eye, was confirmed to be clipping the top of middle and off. Muddy walked off the field dejected, out at the last hurdle for 18. Dorsy's XI finish the day of 6/396, with Angel not out 56. For a full scorecard after Day 3, click here.
